Reasons NOT to book our wood-fired feasts for your event catering

Posted

We’re not your standard event caterer, and we don’t pretend to be.

We’re not for everyone, and that’s exactly the point.

If you’re planning an event that calls for tradition, fine dining, or quiet kitchens, we might not be your people. But if fire, feasting, and unforgettable food sounds like your kind of party… read on.

Reasons you should NOT book us:

  • You value formalities over flavour.

We bring theatre, fire, and bold dishes, not silver service or fine dining frills.

  • You don’t have outdoor space.

Our iconic Land Rover wood-fired kitchen needs room to set up, crackle, and cook properly.

Space required: 5m by 5m

That said, all is not lost if you’re tight on space. Our grazing table catering is a showstopper in its own right, and it doesn’t need a roaring fire to steal the spotlight. <Click here if you don’t have the space, but do want a feast>

  • You want a traditional sit-down three-course meal.

We’re about abundant laid-back feasts designed to be shared, think rustic boards, generous bowls, and plates piled high with flavour. Not plated starters and soufflés.

  • You want the catering to stay in the background.

Our roaring ovens and chefs at the flames are part of the experience. Guests gather, chat and watch it all come to life.

  • You need plug sockets and induction hobs.

We cook with fire, not wires and microwaves.

  • You want safe, standard, “crowd-pleaser” menus.

Our menus aren’t safe. They’re sensational. Bold flavours. Fire-roasted ingredients. And food people remember.

Some of our favourites:

🔥 Fire-roasted Hereford chicken with thyme and lemon

🔥 Todenham Manor Farm belly pork with rosemary and maple syrup

🔥 Moroccan spiced vegetable tagine with chermoula

🔥 Korean spiced sesame jackfruit

🔥 Lamb koftas with pomegranate molasses

🔥 Smoked Padron peppers

🔥 Wood-fired pizzas (think fig & goat’s cheese, hoisin chicken, or black garlic & mushroom)

Safe? No. Delicious? Always.

If you’re after white linens, quiet kitchens, and a safe little salmon fillet… we might not be your people.

But if you’re planning a corporate celebration, private party, or outdoor event where the food is the talking point, with flames, feasting, and unforgettable flavours, then we should talk.

Here’s our enquiry form to save you having to go looking for it.
