Our Values

The Wild Oven represents the coming together of many wonderful things.

The finest British produce, a primal reconnection with fire, and our unbridled passion for quality and honesty.

Sustainability

We care about the future. Your future and our future. That’s why we primarily cook using wood. This wood is only sourced from fallen British trees.

Buying British Produce

Our resolve to buy British isn’t only born out of a sense of pride in the quality of produce from this country’s farmers. It’s about knowing where our food has come from and the high standards to which it has been produced. It’s about doing our little bit to rebalance Britain’s balance of payments. It’s about the excitement and sense of reconnection that comes from eating with the seasons.

We love using food from British farms. We particularly enjoy using ingredients from our vegetable patch on the farm. This means that our ingredients are as fresh as possible; they lose the minimum amount of taste in transit leaving the maximum amount for you.

Honesty

Without honesty we are nothing. One of our pet hates are food companies who make misleading statements. We’re all about avoiding misleading statements, so when we use ambiguous words or phrases, we explain them.

Connection

We care passionately about re-connection. From connection to the food we eat and where it has come from to rekindling connection between people, as so often happens around a fire.

A very big congratulations, all round, for an exceptional evening! From arrival, to finish, the team were extremely professional.  I have had some amazing feedback from all concerned. Cassie and the team were excellent, and the food was superb.  The Brasenose staff, working the event, complimented on how efficient your team were, given the numbers that arrived to be served (almost all at once apparently!), and how delicious the food was.  A massive well done, and thank you, to The Wild Oven company, we will certainly recommend you and, hopefully, look to book you again for future events.
